Dive into the fundamentals of scuba diving with our comprehensive Discover Scuba Diving course, designed to give you a thrilling underwater experience without the need for prior certification. This course offers an excellent overview of scuba diving, highlighting its benefits, such as the serene experience of weightlessness and the opportunity to explore marine life up close.

You’ll start with an e-learning Discover Scuba Manual, which includes essential paperwork, theory content, and an initial certification verifying your course completion. The course ensures you grasp the basic principles of scuba diving, including equipment usage and crucial hand signals.

Our PADI instructors will guide you through basic diving skills practice in confined water, ensuring you’re comfortable and confident before your actual dive.

Safety measures are paramount. Our instructors maintain a strict 1:3 ratio to ensure personalized attention and safety. You’ll dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters, always under the watchful eye of your instructor.

Completing this course is your first step toward full certification, opening the door to further underwater adventures. This experience not only enriches your life but also enables you to serve others by sharing the beauty and wonder of the underwater world.

Schedule and Duration

You’ll be pleased to know that the Discover Scuba Diving course is available daily from April to October, offering both morning and afternoon sessions to fit your schedule. You can choose between a morning session from 10:00 am to 14:00 pm or an afternoon session from 14:00 to 18:00 pm, allowing you to manage your time effectively.

The ideal duration for this scuba diving experience is approximately four hours. This timeframe ensures you get ample time to learn, practice, and enjoy the underwater adventure without feeling rushed. Longer sessions offer the benefit of more in-depth instruction and practice, which can enhance your comfort and confidence underwater.

When deciding between a morning vs afternoon session, consider your energy levels and other commitments. Morning sessions can be ideal if you want to make the most of your day, while afternoon sessions offer a relaxed pace for those who prefer to start their day later.

To make the most of your experience, plan your day around the session. Arrive on time and ensure you have everything prepared the night before. This scheduling flexibility ensures you can enjoy your dive without any stress.

What to Expect

As you embark on your Discover Scuba Diving adventure, expect a comprehensive introduction to the underwater world, guided by experienced PADI instructors. Your journey begins with thorough equipment preparation, ensuring every detail is in place for a safe and enjoyable dive. You’ll receive hands-on guidance to familiarize yourself with the scuba gear, from the mask to the regulator, making sure you’re comfortable and confident.

Next, you’ll dive into essential safety guidelines. Our instructors will teach you crucial hand signals and basic diving skills, creating a strong foundation for your underwater exploration. Once you’re geared up and briefed, it’s time to take the plunge into the serene waters of Chania.

Important Notes

Before you embark on this unforgettable journey, there are some important notes you need to keep in mind. First and foremost, always follow the safety precautions laid out by your instructor. These guidelines ensure not only your safety but also that of your fellow divers.

Next, don’t forget your equipment checklist. Make sure you have all the necessary gear, including your mask, fins, wetsuit, and regulator. Double-check everything before heading out to avoid any last-minute issues.

Your health is crucial for a successful dive. Ensure you meet all health requirements, such as completing the Medical Statement provided in the e-learning Discover Scuba Manual. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, consult your doctor beforehand.

Understanding emergency procedures is vital. Pay close attention during the briefing and practice the emergency signals and actions. Knowing how to respond in an emergency can make all the difference.

When you’re ready, you’ll embark on an exhilarating dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters. After your dive, you’ll receive a commemorative certification, verifying your completion of the course.
